No! I will not pull up.
Blah, Blah, Blah! That's pretty much how I've felt about this past year. I realized I've allowed another whole year to pass without making a post. But thank you Frisch's for the inspiration. I'm not a huge fan of fast food. I'd rather have a home cooked meal any day of the week. I stopped going to McDonalds regularly when I was 17. While they do have fast service, the food is just not that great. The only exception is when you're four Bud Light's in, and you order a Big Mac, fries and a Coke. So on the days when beer isn't involved I go to Frisch's. I love a Big Boy, they always make my day! The problem with Frisch's is they always take my money and then ask me to pull up. Pull up for what? My onion rings are never fresh. I'm always confused because when I get my food it's never hot. Whenever I go to a fast food restaurant and they ask me to pull up, I assume my food is being made fresh. This does not seem to be the case with Frisch's. Every single Frisch's I go to in the city ask me to pull up, but my food is never fresh. I hate this, It's completely inconvenient and makes me dislike Frisch's. As much as I hate Wendy's, I must say their drive thru is always the most efficient. Rarely is my order wrong and they always have it ready by the time I reach the second window. So Frisch's I'm begging, please get it together. I love my Big Boy's but I hate waiting. The next time I go, I will simply say "No. I'm not pulling up." I wonder how they will react.

Appreciative of the Little Things
Wow, I realized it would be in my best interest to either delete this blog, or publish more post. My last post was over a year ago. Since my last post, Facebook and Twitter have taken over the world. I'm still waiting on my grandmother to send me a friend's request. It's funny how whenever I see something awesome or think of a great idea, I tweet it, or update my Facebook status. I miss the days when one would just pick up the phone and call their friends. I went on a Facebook detox this fall. I was without a profile for over 90 days. I have since re-activated my account and I'm back on stalker status. Yesterday I was on Facebook for over 2 hours and somehow, I found this very entertaining. What does this mean? Somehow our world is turning into a place where social skills aren't required. Why do I sit around most days looking at status updates and twitter timelines. I should be out in the world meeting people, instead of adding them, or following them.
One thing I've realized is that Facebook and Twitter, make us all feel more important than we really are. We basically are all having conversations with ourselves, hoping to gain a million friends/followers. 90% of the time the people in our lives who matter the most, never read our post of pain. One thing that I will never understand is people's urges to feud online. Seriously, who cares what people think. We all create these profiles/pages/blogs to get attention. So when we get it, why do we lash out. If you Google anyone who has had just 15 minutes of fame, you will always get more negative results than positive ones. So if you can't keep your negative opinions to yourself, doesnt' it make since to talk to the person whom you have the problem with. Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, MocoSpace etc.doesn't really give a damn how you feel. So I ask of anyone who reads this, please, please, pretty please make your 2011 post more positive. I'll try if you try. I appreciate your efforts in advance. I hate opening up an app and having someone else's negativity ruining my day!

FALL T.V.
Every fall anticipation takes over and the suspense of new t.v.overwhelms me. Of course every year has it's share of dissapointments. New shows fail to live up to expectations and old shows fail to keep up to their previous standards. So far this year hasn't been any different.
TBL: The Beautiful life canceled after only two episodes. Sorry Sara Paxton but because the show failed to jump off, your biggest role to date is still Aquamarine. For some unknown reason I feel required to support Mischa Barton like I'm her mother. Maybe next time Mischa! Gossip Girl has been having a real hard time keeping me entertained. Guess I don't understand why everyone on the show is dating in real life. I think it takes away from the character dynamic, making the roles in which they play unbelievable in a bad way. Heroes- not really sure where they are going this season, but I love it. One thing is for sure, if Adrian Pasdar or Zachary Quinto don't stay as series regulars, I will no longer support the show.
The most disappointing by far is Grey's Anatomy. Even though it's spin-off Private Practice has, Grey's has failed to deliver anything good. T.R. Knight an original cast member left the show. To me, this has caused an unnatural balance in the show. It's not the same. The Forgotten, Eastwick and Accidentally On Purpose I just don't know yet. Are you good? No. But it's too early to give up? Perhaps I'll give each one, one more week, after that my DVR series manager will be updated. Hank, The Middle, Modern Family, Cougar Town and Flash Forward are all AWESOME! Can't really see Flash Forward lasting for more than 2 seasons, how would it work?
My Thursday night is a little out of sync because The CW moved Smallville to Friday. I guess I shoudn't complain about this and just be happy the show isn't canceled. The Vampire Diaries still new and I still don't know. I like vampires. I like Ian Somerhalder. I like Ian Somerhalder as a vampire. But for some reason I can't decide if I like Nina Dobrev as Elena. Nina is very pretty, but I think this is an obvious choice in which the casting director should've done better. Supernatural still kicks ass and takes names. Sam and Dean can do no wrong in my world. Although I am curious as to why Paris Hilton will be there next week?
The final season of Nip/Tuck starts next week and I can't wait. One thing that Nip/Tuck has done for me since day one, is never let me down. Even when I start to ask myself WTF? They bring it all together and leave me in awe. It will be so sad to see it go.

2009 VMA's: MTV's Most Entertaining Program in Years.
BERSERK!
For some random reason Lil Mama felt compelled to ruin the ending of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' performance of Empire State of Mind. Who told her it was o.k. I don't know. But whoever they are, they need to be fired! Although their performance was hot, unfortunately Lil Mama will be the most memorable part of it. Lil Mama's brain must have been out to lunch or she had to be possessed by something that made her believe that was o.k. When she first jumped on stage I thought, not the lip gloss girl! Then I realized she wasn't part of the show, and this was completely unplanned. PRICELESS. She made my night at work so much more enjoyable. It seemed everyone including me, found Lil Mama to be an entertaining trending topic on Twitter.
Examples Included:
therealjusnyele #lilmamais to bow wow what Sasha fierce is to beyonce<<<<< LMFAO!!!!
UmmIsaDean #lilmamais officially the lamest lil boy I've ever seen with popping lip gloss...
TerrenceBarz #lilmamais playin da new killer in "I Still And Forever Will Always Know, Cause Ill Never Forget What It Was That You Did Last Summer"
ilove_shoes #lilmamais trapped in the closet w/ R.Kelly but he doesn't even know how she got there. lmao
Isima11 #lilmamais this will prolly be tha last time lil mama get this much attention, look at it this trending topic lasted longer then her career !
And my favs...
myfabolouslife#lilmamais fast... i was jus about to run on stage myself... She beat me to it..
myfabolouslife#lilmamais Ms. Me Too..
KANYE
Does he have incredible big balls of steel? YES. But it was very preposterous, even for him, to interrupt Taylor Swift. With that being said, I agree with Kanye it's called Video Music Awards. There wasn't a single person who didn't catch themselves imitating some form of Single Ladies( Put a Ring On it) last fall. It amazes me how everyone is so quick to judge and point fingers when someone else makes a mistake. It's almost as if we as a society thrive on seeing other people down. Am I the only one who seen the huge bottle of Hennessy Mr. West was toting on the red carpet? People often lose their self-control when they are drunk. Bottom line Taylor won and no one can take that away from her. I wonder if Kanye will ever get invited to another award show.
LADY GAGA
As of Sunday I didn't own any of her music. Her performance was hot! Different yes, but I can't deny she's dope. I'm certain she gained a fan in me, and I'm definite that I'm not the only one.
BEYONCE
Congrats Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) for winning video of the year! Mrs. Shawn Carter gains an incredible amount of respect for how she handled things on Sunday. She could've took in her moment and shined in the spotlight, but she didn't. Like a real woman she invited Taylor back out to finish her speech. Awww! Taylor also gets loads of respect for not calling Kanye out. She could've got the mic and let him have it. Congrats to Taylor, Britney, Lady Gaga, Eminem, T.I.,Green Day and all the other winners. Even if Mr. West doesn't think you deserve it.
TEARS TEARS TEARS
Kind of disappointed in Michael Jackson tribute. Am I the only one who is wondering where was Chris Brown? O.k. Janet tore it up, but that was it. She was only onstage for about two minutes and then it was over. Did the world forget the incredible performance Chris Brown gave at the 2007 VMA's when he danced to Billie Jean. What about Usher, or Ciara, or any of the other incredible entertainers out there who can dance their asses off. I'm shocked that Janet Jackson was able to get onstage so soon and perform in a tribute to her brother. She did a wonderful job, but there couldv'e and shoud've been more.

End Of Summer Thoughts: Movies
Even though this was a highly anticipated summer for movies, I don't feel 100% satisfied.
Back In May X-Men Origins: Wolverine was supposed to be the jump off. It wasn't! I remember leaving the theater disappointed. It wasn't terrible, but not great either.
Following Wolverine was Star Trek, one of the few memorable films of the year. J.J. Abrams didn't disappoint.
Star Trek managed to have a strong script that was emotionally and visually stimulating to see on screen, without being extremely drawn out.
I did have high expectations for Terminator Salvation, and I was let down.
I can't seem to understand why people give Michael Bay a hard time. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a hit!
I enjoyed it and was pleased. The storyline tied well with the first movie and not to mention I was never bored. It managed to include something for all movie-goers. It was funny with a little bit of romance, plus eye candy for both men and women. Of course all the shit being blown up is cool as hell.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Funny People and Inglorious Bastards didn't disappoint. With that being said, they all seemed to be missing some element that could have taken them all to a better place.
I completely understand that transforming a novel into a book isn't easy and that everything can't be translated from page to screen. But, I don't understand the point in leaving out vital things for the fear of a 'R' Rating. Give me a break people, money isn't everything. If parents allow their kids to read these books, then they should understand what they might see. Reading about some things can be worse than actually seeing it. The imagination is a powerful thing. At least in seeing it their minds won't continue trying to come up with an image of these horrible thoughts. Overall great, but could have been better. The multiple duels toward the end of the book shouldn't have been left out. In leaving this out, the movie lacked something important from the end of the book. The emotional build up and mystery of Harry's feelings towards Dumbledore's death, therefore making his funeral not sad.
Funny People!
I expected the movie to be funnier. It's called Funny People! It was oddly serious. Great movie, but the second time around I'll take a more serious approach in watching it.
Inglorious Bastards!
Quentin Tarantino, I've missed you! I can't wait to see this again, but what was with all the subtitles homie-G?
Sleeper Hit of the Summer- The Hangover!
"You were in the hospital last night." Ha Ha. Funniest thing all year-hands down. It's continuously hilarious, and forward with out being over the top. I LOVE IT.

7 Topics-Several Thoughts
JENNIFER ANISTON AND JOHN MAYER
I don't know if it's just me, but I'm having a real hard time accepting them together as a couple. Of course it's really none of my business as long as they are happy. But I don't like it. Is she really happy? Is he really happy? How could that be. What could they possible offer each other. I don't see this working out in the long run. She's going to want to settle down and have babies. And he isn't going to be ready. I see it now so vividly. Unfortunately they are together at the moment and I'm force to deal with it. Apparently the Oscars was their 'coming out as a couple' event. I don't know who they were 'coming out' to. But I wish the 'mutual separation, were still friends' statement gets released soon. I'm so over this.
Britney Spears
Let me just say that I have been from the very beginning, and will be until the very end, a die-hard Britney Spears fan. Ms. Spears left for Kentwood, LA on Feb. 27 to get ready for 'THE CIRCUS STARRING BRITNEY SPEARS' tour, which kicks off March 3rd in New Orleans, LA. I'm super, super excited. Everyone keeps calling this a comeback, but to me she never left. If she did then where did she go? Because she was on the front of every single one of my magazine covers week after week. She also managed to have an album debut at number 2 selling 290,000 copies in it's first week with absolutely no promotion. I'll ask again, where did she go?
UNCLE CHRIS AND RIHANNA
Of course! They have reunited. If they are happy than I'm happy. No one but them really knows what went down that night. No one, except them. If they are able to work through their problems than who are we to stop them. People fail to realize that they are both so young, they still have a lot of growing up to do. Unfortunately they have to make their mistakes and be judged by the whole world. The rest of us didn't' have to experience this type of scrutiny while growing up. Have a little sympathy, please!
Rob P!
OMG! It's Rob P. He showed up last Sunday at the Oscars, looking hot as usual. It made me excited that someone takes him as serious as I do. He got invited to the Oscars didn't' he? Apparently they think he has potential, and so do I. I read that Kristen Stewart is apparently to good of an actor to support a movie like Twilight. Well I've got news for Kristen. You and Cam were the whole reason Twilight wasn't a good movie. You can't act. Sorry there is no other way to put it. You really need to work on your acting skills, before you go on and judge someone else. What a lame!
SETH ROGEN AND JAMES FRANCO
What a couple of cute kids. I predict that in the future they will be the next Woody Allen and Billy Crystal. They presented an award this year at the Oscars, and Seth couldn't keep a straight face. Poor James determined to the say the name correct. He practiced, he tried, he failed. Bless his heart!
KATE WINSLET
It's about time! We can now say Academy Award Winner Kate Winslet. It sure does sound nice. Academy Award Winner Kate Winslet. Still sounds nice. Now we just gotta get Johnny and Leo one, and we are set!
SEAN PENN
I would just like to thank Sean Penn for delivering an Oscar-worthy performance as Harvey Milk. But that only helped me to respect him as an actor. I still didn't like him as a person. For years I've carried this unexplainable grudge against Sean P. I don't know what made me hate him more. His hanging out with Hugo Chavez and Castro, or the fact that he took his own personal photographer with him to New Orleans to help Katrina Victims. The spot in your boat where the photographer was standing, could have been a spot for someone who needs help. Was there really any reason to have a shotgun? Also if you wanted it to be known that you selflessly helped others in need, than why didn't you just asked the other camera people who took a picture of you and your cameraman, to just take a picture of you? It was his acceptance speech at this year's Oscars that allowed me to open the gates of my heart and allow Sean P. to enter. The fact that he was clearly nervous made up for his previous cockiness. The acknowledgement
that he made in knowing that he sometimes can be a jerk, sealed the deal!

Man O Man!
Here are a couple of thoughts on the 51st Annual Grammy Awards.
God bless the Jonai! It makes me a little sad that Stevie Wonder knows the lyrics to Burnin' Up. I really don't get it. I don't know if the reason I can't get down with the Jonai is because they aren't good or I'm just not 15. But what I do know is that Joe, is bad news bears. There is no real talent present. I see the other two Nick and Kevin running around with their guitars. But Joe just runs around using the Nick Carter approach to singing.
JENNIFER HUDSON
KATY PERRY
I thought she could sing. What a disappointment. I don't know if she had a cold or was nervous, but she needs to get it together. She sounded a rough. Why can't this women ever wear bottoms. They don't have to be pants. It could be a dress, a skirt, even a towel. Please Katy were tired of seeing your thighs. Bananas, apples and oranges? Why Why Why?
Disgusting! I thought I got it. The reason why they are such huge stars. I don't particularly think they are pretty, but I could see how others thought so. I'm not a big fan of their music, but I could see how others did. I assumed that their supposed prettiness and mediocre vocal skills helped get them record deals. These two can't sing live. My friend told me she thought that Miley was the better singer. Singer maybe the better term would be wailer. In that case it's a tie. Taylor should have kept her old job writing music for other (real) artist.
KID ROCK
Why is Kid Rock even at the Grammys. Are there still people out there that listen to him. I can't think of the last time I even heard a Kid Rock song. And I certainly don't know anyone who can. Not only was he there, but he performed. What a disaster!
SWAGGER LIKE US
Besides Coldplay, they were the only people worth watching last night at the Grammys. What can I say. Kanye West, T.I. Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and a very knocked up M.I.A performed the Grammy Award winning song, all wearing black and white. Besides the polka dots everyone looked and did great.
COLDPLAY
I've never paid too much attention to Coldplay before last night. Apparently I've been missing out. Chris Martin is hot. When they got up to accept one of their awards, he was too excited! I think he may have been a little tipsy. If so, it makes him even hotter! Their was a point in their acceptance speech when he said "Thank you so much, we've never had so many Grammys in our lives." Hmm who has Chris. He's a mess. I love it. It makes up for fathering two children named Apple and Moses.
Jonas Brothers
God bless the Jonai! It makes me a little sad that Stevie Wonder knows the lyrics to Burnin' Up. I really don't get it. I don't know if the reason I can't get down with the Jonai is because they aren't good or I'm just not 15. But what I do know is that Joe, is bad news bears. There is no real talent present. I see the other two Nick and Kevin running around with their guitars. But Joe just runs around using the Nick Carter approach to singing.
JENNIFER HUDSON
I just can't do it. I have a really hard time forcing myself to like her. I give up. Yes she can sing. But her music does nothing for me. Sorry Jennifer, your dress was not much to look at.
TAYLOR SWIFT/MILEY CYRUS
LIL WAYNE
It's about time. Lil Wayne put his first album out ten years ago. It took mainstream success to get the academy to notice him. It amazes me how someone so great, can be overlooked for so long. One of the many examples that awards are mainly for bragging purposes, and rarely has anything to do with your talent.
WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF
I heart Uncle Chris. Apparently it has been reported that Chris Brown and Rihanna were involved in a Domestic Dispute last night. Chris was booked on felony criminal threats charges and posted $50,000 bail yesterday in L.A at 6:34 PST. I really hope that whatever is going on gets cleared up fast. Chris I don't know what to believe. I am certain that no matter what the turnout I'll still love him. Poor Rihanna!
Lastly why was Samuel L. Jackson at the Grammys? Is he trying to have a cross-over career. If he is, I officially can no longer support him.
